CLEVELAND, OHIO – Easy2 Technologies announced the launch of a new web-based application that allows manufacturers to create and distribute unlimited interactive rich retail product demos for one flat monthly fee. The one-of-a-kind rich media application is the newest offering from the full-service rich retail media company and is appropriately named MYO (an acronym of Make Your Own) and allows anyone to make a demo in just minutes with as little as one product photo.

"We launched MYO in September 2006 and the response among manufacturers was immediate. We now have twenty one major brands in the home improvement and consumer electronics industries using the application and we expect to double that over the coming months." said Easy2 president and co-founder John Bukovnik. According to Bukovnik, before MYO manufacturers had no alternative but to invest thousands of dollars in each custom demo with 6-8 week production timelines to promote each of their products. MYO puts the means of production, distribution and reporting in the hands of the manufacturer with no incremental fees per-demo or per-view. "Now any manufacturer can be a content publisher delivering high-impact, branded demos to their own websites as well as those of their retailers without any technical or creative expertise. We’ve changed the industry," said Bukovnik.

"We like being able to quickly and easily create interactive content that helps to engage web users more directly with our products. The MYO fee structure allows our smaller divisions and product lines access to interactive content despite modest budgets. And being able to deliver the demos to our retail and distribution partners’ websites gives us a better way to explain product differences in what used to be a static medium. We believe this will certainly result in selling a higher proportion of premium models."

The easy-to-use MYO application enables web teams, product managers or anyone in sales, marketing or merchandising to build and distribute the demos. MYO also allows the inclusion of existing rich-media, including video clips and flash movies. MYO content templates offer animated features & benefits, 360° rotation and zoom views, multi-step installation & assembly instructions, showing a choice of color options and user surveys that can be used for marketing and customer service purposes. Easy2 is also planning an upgrade to MYO that will allow their clients to make their own product training modules complete with log-in and assessment.
