Easy2 Technologies, the leading provider of online and mobile merchandising content and technology to consumer product manufacturers and retailers, recently launched a community outreach volunteer program to give back to the Greater Cleveland community.

Dawn Tekler, who is coordinating the program at Easy2, said “This is our way of supporting our core value of promoting positive change by giving back to the community, and the response has been incredible! Our hope is to not only be of assistance to organizations that support the community, but to encourage other Cleveland-area businesses to organize their own community volunteer program.”

The Easy2 volunteer program allows team members to volunteer during the work day once a month without having to take vacation time. Easy2 has helped Community Greenhouse Partners mulch young fruit trees, create raised gardens and with basic greenhouse maintenance. In addition, the company has volunteered at the Purr-Fect Companions Cat Sanctuary and Berea Animal Shelter, interacting with the adoptable cats and dogs, cleaning and general assistance, and is currently volunteering at the WSEM Community Corner Food Center.

“We are committed to Greater Cleveland and this is just one way promoting positive change in our community,” said Easy2 CEO Ethan Cohen. “We have about 40 people on our team and more than half participate in the Easy2 volunteer program! Imagine how much good could be done if 50, 100 or 200 other Cleveland businesses had their own volunteer program. We hope that other area businesses seriously consider a similar program.”

“Volunteering is not always easy or glamorous. It is frequently hard, dirty work, but it is also incredibly rewarding,” said Tekler. “We think it is a privilege to be able to help organizations that help our community.”
